The Why
Ask anyone who knows me well, and they will agree, when I am passionate about something, I am "all" in. I am fascinated by any physical expression that embodies the spiritual facets of our existence (yoga, music, art...)

Teaching mindful movement, allows me to share what I have learnt firsthand about the secrets and science. It's like I've been given an amazing cake but couldn't possibly eat it all myself, so sharing it seems like the most natural thing to do.

In the beginning the draw towards yoga (in particular), was, it gave me a space to be with myself, but not feel "empty". After devoting myself to practice I was to soon find I couldn't contain all the joy it brought me, and as the oldest of three, teaching came naturally. Over 20 years have passed and the passion for learning and sharing is still powerfully present within me.
Simply put, I believe we cultivate joy. Like a great garden, we get seeds, make sure the bed is in the right spot (sun/shade mix), enrich the soil as needed, plant the seeds and diligently weed/water as needed. Before you know it, with patience, perseverance and work we get to harvest! Often, as we get more experienced, we end up with so much produce, that it just make sense to share it.

My greatest hope is to inspire others to cultivate their joy and then share it with the world in their own unique way.
